Vârful Vlădeasa (1836 m)
Ridge trail starting right next to the village · full-day hike
Vlădeasa is the highest peak in the northern Apuseni and dominates the entire horizon seen from Rogojel. The hike starts right near the village and climbs gradually through spruce forests up to the alpine clearing, where the view opens in every direction.
On a clear day you can see the Bihor Mountains, Gilău and, far off, the ridges of the Southern Carpathians. It is a full-day route, accessible to anyone with decent fitness and good footwear.
We recommend setting off early in the morning, with water, layers of clothing and a snack — the weather on the ridge can change quickly.
