The story of the name
Why Arin
The alder — arin in Romanian — is the tree of the waters. You always find it beside a mountain stream, roots in the bank, holding the earth in place so the floods won't take it. Where the alder grows, you know water is near.
It has a secret, too: when cut, its pale wood turns red within minutes, as if coming to life. It was used for well buckets, troughs and mill piles, because in water it does not rot — it hardens.
The Arin cabin is for two people who want to settle side by side, like the alder beside the water. No noise, no schedule — just the murmur of the forest and your time together.
