How to get to Rogojel and what to see along the way

Rogojel isn't hard to find, but it's tucked away just enough to make you feel you've truly left the city behind.

From Cluj-Napoca you head toward Huedin, then turn off toward the Apuseni Mountains. The road climbs slowly through hills and forests, and the final stretch is just winding enough to put you in the right frame of mind.

It's worth stopping at Cetatea Bologa, a medieval fortress overlooking the valley of the Crișul Repede. From there, it's only a short way to us. We'll be waiting with the fire lit.
